
WFC Project REACH is actively recruiting individuals and families that meet our host parent requirements and are ready to change the odds for youth at risk.
By opening your home to a youth ages 13-17 in need; you can enrich your life while enriching the life of a young person. As a host home, you can provide comfort, security, and hope to a young person in need of a safe place to live. Our team provides the training and support to help you work through the challenges and celebrate the joys of being a host parent. It’s a journey that will change your life and the life of someone in need of your support.
WFC Project REACH actively recruits caring individuals and families dedicated to working with children, from 13 to 17 years of age. A competitive stipend and intensive support services are offered for the host parents including 24-hour availability, training, and help with meeting licensing requirements. A maximum of $500 per month per home will be given. Adults interested in opening their home and becoming a host parent must meet the following program requirements:

- must be 25 years of age
- a legal US citizen or legal US resident
- possess a valid Connecticut driver’s license, with an insured vehicle
- complete an extensive background check
- have income sufficient to meet your family’s needs
- have stable housing
- successfully complete home study
- successfully complete training program
