Citizens' Help Needed for Book about Middlefield

The Middlefield Historical Society needs your help!

The historical society is looking for any images of the town up to the 1970s, including celebrations, landscapes, buildings, businesses, community groups, churches and recreational events, etc., that could be used in an upcoming pictorial history of the town.

Images will be scanned and returned to the owner, who will be credited in the book if the image is used. Any information that the owner can give about the image would also be helpful. The older the photograph, postcard, advertisement or any other image the better!

Work has already begun on the book but images can be accepted until April 15.

This book will be published by Arcadia Publishing and will be available to the community in Dec. 2011.
