Coginchaug and Haddam Killingworth advanced to the semifinals of the Shoreline Conference Tournament with victories at home Saturday night. The No. 2 Blue Devils (18-3) defeated Hyde 54-41 behind 18 points from Ethan Donecker. The senior also had seven rebounds and five assists. The No. 4 Cougars topped Old Saybrook 54-49. Erik Carlson led HK with a game-high 27 points. Up next: Coginchaug will host Valley Tuesday night in Durham while HK travels to Cromwell.
