Colors of the Wind to Host Meet the Artist Event

Get a jump on Mother's Day gifts by stopping by Colors of the Wind Artists' Emporium & Consignments!

Colors of the Wind Artists’ Emporium & Consignments at 360 Main St., Durham, Connecticut, will host another in a series of trunk show/meet the artist events at its studio and store. All are welcome to share in this special event to be held Saturday, April 11, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Come and meet featured artisan, Jean Rill-Alberto, of With Heart By Hand and learn more about Colors of the Wind. To quote Jean, “As far back as I can remember, I have always loved to do two things the most…sing and create art in one form or another!” Jean, a graduate of The School of Visual Arts and The Art Students’ League, both in New York City, enjoys making collage designs in mixed media. She uses her designs to create a unique line of greeting cards and coordinating gifts such as jewelry, paper weights, tote bags, calendars, treasure boxes and so much more.
