CTWSL Regular Season concludes with showcase event

Double header will decide regular season champions!

Durham, CT July 23, 2015: The Connecticut Women’s Softball league invites you to come out and join us for some great softball action as we conclude our regular season schedule with a double-header showcase event under the lights at Atwell Field on the grounds of Coginchaug High School in Durham, CT on Thursday night, July 23rd starting at 6:30 p.m. Two teams that are battling it out for the regular season championship as well as the #1 seed in our season-ending tournament, the Connecticut Tides U-23 coached by John Esposito and the Connecticut Mirage U-23 coached by Steve Pallotti, will take each other on in a much anticipated match up featuring two teams that each have suffered only one loss entering these final games. A sweep of the double-header by either team would assure them the regular season title as well as the #1 seed in our league tournament. It promises to be a fun evening of exciting action featuring some of the best softball players in the state.

This event is made possible in part by the support and cooperation of Coginchaug Little League and their President, Scott Strang, who recognize that many of the CT Tides players are alumni of Coginchaug/District 9 Little League programs as well as Coginchaug High School. The CTWSL appreciates the opportunity to use this premier area facility for our games.
