Why: School officials will present a $34,786,974 2011-2012 budget proposal for the 2011-2012 school year, after which residents will have the opportunity to comment. Polls are open from 6 a.m to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, at Korn School in Durham and the Community Center in Middlefield to vote on the refendum. On May 3, voters a $35,011,224 budget by a margin of 80 votes.
