DMV Systems Up After Network Issue

Across the entire Department of Motor Vehicles network, the system was down as of 12:56 p.m. The system is working again.

The following areas were impacted:

• Issuance of licenses
• Ability to access the Internet
• Ability for staff to send email

According to NBC Connecticut, the DMV worked with the Department of Administrative Services on how to fix the system. Connecticut DMV offices will be closed from August 11 through the 15th for computer upgrades, but will be able to process licenses.
