DMYFS to Offer Babysitter Training

This program is open to youth entering grades 6-9 and offers Babysitter Certification, First Aid & CPR Certification!

Learn to become a safe and responsible babysitter! This American Heart Association program includes basic childcare information, first aid and CPR training as well as information for other emergency situation. Also covered will be how to respond to an emergency or sudden illness, prevention of accidents, and supervision of children from infancy through school age. This course provides practical knowledge while building confidence, self-esteem, leadership and independence.

DMYFS will also maintain a list of all youth completing the course for use in our Job Bank.

For Youth Entering Grades 6 - 9 (Fall 2015)
When: Tuesday, June 30th 2015 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Where: DMYFS Office, Middlefield Community Center
Instructor: A 2nd Chance CPR – American Heart Association
Cost: $75 for entire class and includes book, materials, snack and certificate.
Lunch: Participants must provide their own beverage and lunch. A refrigerator and microwave are available.
