Dog Struck By Car in Durham
Thanks to the town's emergency animal responders, the dog is going to survive.
“So proud of our Durham Animal Response Team - DART and our Durham Animal Control Control Officers working together to save a dog that was hit by a vehicle and severely injured on Main Street last night,” Durham’s Department of Emergency Management said via Facebook.
The dog was taken to Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center Emergency Department and is going to survive, according to the doctor.
“Special Thanks to Sue White Tiffany Hauser, Jason Stone and John Miller for your quick response hard work & diligence,” the Dept. of Emergency Management wrote.
