Drug Arrest for Durham Man after Wallingford Traffic Stop: Report

The incident occurred early Thursday on Route 68 near Barnes Industrial Road.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A 23 Durham man was arrested early Thursday on multiple narcotics charges after he was pulled over for speeding on Route 68 near Barnes Industrial Road in Wallingford, according to police.

The Meriden Record-Journal reports that Tyler Gallagi, of Higganum Road, was charged with sale of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police spotted him traveling over 70 mph in a 45 mph zone at about 7:40 a.m. when he was pulled over. He was wanted on a warrant for the controlled substance charges, and police found 1.8 grams of marijuana in his vehicle.
