Durham House Gutted By Fire: Report

DURHAM, CT — Local firefighters battled a house fire at 45R Old Washington Trail Road in Durham early Sunday morning, reports the Middletown Press.

No injuries were reported in the fire, which was called in by a neighbor at about 1:21 a.m. No one was in the home at the time.

Fire officials have initially ruled the cause of the fire as accidental, but the investigation is continuing, according to the publication. In addition to Durham volunteer firefighters, crews from Middletown, Middlefield and Killingworth assisted.
