Durham Library To Host Holiday Book Fundraiser

DURHAM, CT — PALS, the Friends of the Durham Public Library, will hold Book Buzz: Holiday Edition at the library Saturday, Nov. 14. The fundraiser begins at 5:30 p.m., according to the Durham Public Library announcement, and tickets cost $25 per person.

Cindy Haiken, Wallingford Library’s readers advisory librarian, will present upcoming titles and suggestions for new books to give as holiday gifts. The event also includes holiday mocktails and snacks and supports PALS and the library.

Readers can register online for one to four tickets, providing a full name, email address, phone number and dietary needs. The form includes gluten-free and dairy-free options and space to list other allergies or restrictions. According to the form, an email confirming reserved spots will arrive within 48 hours of submission.

Payment options are PayPal through the registration form’s payment link or a check made out to PALS. Checks must be dropped off at the library’s front desk by Saturday, Nov. 7.
