Durham Library Seeks Community Input On Future Plans

An online and paper survey asks about library services and priorities, with responses due Saturday, Nov. 14.

Durham Public Library is asking community members to complete a survey by Saturday, Nov. 14, to help guide its future. According to the library's announcement, feedback will help shape its plans and priorities over the next three to five years.

The survey asks how people use the library, which digital resources they access and what services or programs they want expanded. Respondents can select up to three areas they would like to see more of, including collections, programs, technology to borrow and remote work space.

The form also invites suggestions drawn from other libraries and asks how respondents prefer to receive library news. Community members can complete the online survey or ask for a paper copy at the Durham Public Library circulation desk.
