Durham, Middlefield Voters Reject School Budget

Voters rejected a proposed $38 million budget.

DURHAM, CT — Voters rejected Regional School District 13's $38 million proposed budget in a referendum held Tuesday.

The referendum language was as follows: “Shall we accept the proposed budget of $38,489,206 for the 2022-2023 fiscal year as prepared and presented by the Regional District 13 Board of Education?”
