Durham Referendum Results Released

Durham residents were asked to approve borrowing $7 million.

DURHAM, CT — By a vote of 987 to 609 the $7 million referendum on whether the town should spend $7 million for the acquisition of the former Francis E. Korn Elementary School building and conversion into a Community Center failed.

Just under 30 percent of residents voted during Tuesday's referendum.
