DURHAM, CT - Christina Pen of Durham is one of many Connecticut residents who recently completed the Connecticut General Assembly's legislative internship program.

She worked in the office of state Sen. Ted Kennedy, Jr. (D-Branford) throughout the 2016 Legislative Session, and the senator gave high praise for her efforts.

“Christina Pen is a bright, hardworking young woman who became a real asset to me and my legislative aide throughout the recent session,” said Senator Kennedy in a statement. “She fielded phone calls and emails from constituents, helping them resolve a variety of issues, and worked to help me pass some very important pieces of legislation. I am inspired by Christina and the many other young Durham residents I have had the opportunity to meet. We were all very sorry to see Christina go, and wish her the best as she continues her education.”
