For the Eagleson Family of Middlefield, Questions Still Linger 15 Years after 9/11

Patriarch Bruce Eagleson died on that tragic day.

MIDDLEFIELD, CT — For the Eagleson family of Middlefield, the death of Bruce Eagleson, the family patriarch, on Sept. 11, 2001, continues to bring up questions 15 years later.

Eagleson died at the Twin Towers in lower Manhattan, and members of the family still don't have all the answers from the federal government's report on the attacks, they told Fox61 News.

The family is supporting the passage of the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act, which would allow families to sue foreign governments supporting terrorists. The United States Senate passed the bill, which is supported by Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT). On Friday afternoon, Sept. 9, the House also passed the measure, but whether President Obama will sign the bill remains uncertain, reports The Hill.
