Belly Dance Workshop - Core Club & GYM

gia has developed her
own eclectic style of belly dancing .....Using basic belly dance moves, she
adds an emotional, spiritual, fusion to take this art form to a place to create
power, freedom, and joy......The class will start
with the "moves behind the moves ".....gia's own warm ups and stretching.....it
will also cover hip articulations and shimmies with earthy rhythms.... Undulations
with the soft, mystical moves of taxim, to calm the mind and body ......arm and
hand accents to highlight movements and activate the brain, veil work to lead
into the illusory realms.....Choreographed dances ....free form, improvised
movement.....isolations, a good workout and ....fun, fun, fun.....All this takes you into yourself, in the moment to experience your
own deeper, adventurous, sensuous self.....Dress in layers.....wear loose yoga pants,
work out clothes or a full skirt ....bare feet, socks or ballet shoes.....Coin
hip belts and veils will be provided to borrow ......all skill levels and body
types are welcome ....this class is perfect for beginners or students who have
studied before.....
