Childsplay Fiddle Fest

Childsplay is a unique band which assembles annually to perform a handful of concerts, and their New London show is their very first Connecticut appearance.  Named in honor of band member Bob Childs, who has lovingly crafted every fiddle in play, the group has toured both nationally and overseas since 1986.  This year's eighteen artists include all-Ireland and Scottish national fiddle champions, members of the Boston Symphony, even a step-dancer or two.  Their eclectic music comprises traditional Celtic, bluegrass, and Appalachian tunes, along with original and contemporary compositions.  This should be a remarkable event.
