Coyotes and Fishers and Bears, Oh My!

In Connecticut, three mammal species have changed dramatically in abundance over the past 60 years–-coyotes, fishers and bears. Join Paul Rego, CTDEEP wildlife biologist for more than 25 years, as he reviews each species and its history in Connecticut, current status and distribution, natural history and the management challenges it presents by its conflicts with humans. Pelts and animal mounts will be on view.

This free program is co-sponsored by Potapaug Audubon Society.
