The Arts Center at Killingworth now offers a Friday afternoon Homeschooling Art program for children and teens. Drawing through the Ages for ages 9-14, $130 (1:15-2:45pm). This class connects art history to drawing concepts providing a richer understanding of the when, where, why, and how art is created. Mixed Media for ages 6-10, $110 (2:45-3:45pm) gives students the opportunity to create art using a variety of materials and mediums. Projects include: Mini Watercolor Masterpieces, Illuminated Lettering, Postage Collage and more. Clay Discovery for ages 6-12, $125 (2:45-4:15pm), Explore a variety of art concepts and techniques as children knead and roll clay to chisel away like true sculptors creating their own unique pieces of art. Children can end their Friday afternoons at the Arts Center with All sessions held at the Arts Center. Teachers provide home reports for all classes.
