Approximately 80 dogs and puppies of all breeds and sizes from no-kill shelters and rescues from across Connecticut will be available for adoption on Aug. 27 and 28 thanks to the efforts of the Parmelee Steering Committee, a team of local volunteers and the Essex-based Dog Days Adopt a Shelter Pet organization. Dogs of all ages and breeds will be available for adoption between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days.
