The Killingworth Library invites you to "Lurking in the Trees"… Alien Invasion, presented by Eric Chamberlain, Plant Health Safeguarding Specialist. The program will be held on September 7 at 6:30pm.
Originating in China, Asian Longhorn beetles came to the U.S. in shipping containers establishing themselves first in maple trees on Worcester, MA and have been quietly spreading ever since. Chamberlain will present a 30 minute film from the USDA and discuss and answer questions about the damage and spread of this invader.
The program will be held at the Killingworth Library, located at 301 Route 81 in Killingworth.
