Join felting artist Robin McCahill! Nuno-Felted Gossamer Scarves: Merino wool is lightly layered over a silk gauze scarf. The combination is then sprayed with soapy water and rolled until the fibers have worked their way through and felted to the silk. After the final process the fibers are permanently adhered to one another and a wonderful gossamer scarf is the amazing result. Felted Flowers: Using the wet felting method and wonderful colorful whisps of merino wool participants will make wonderful felted wool flowers to accessorize any outfit. They are especially suited to hats, jackets and sweaters. I sometimes even add them as pockets or embellishments for purses.
