Pasta Dinner to Benefit Homeless Children of Peru

Victory Christian Church will host a community wide pasta dinner, on Saturday, January 22. Proceeds from the dinner will be used to send Dr. Michael Ferris and his team to Peru in June.

A story run by Patch in late December, said this: "We find it incomprehensible that young, malnorished and medically fragile children would huddle together under bridges or pieces of cardboard, hoping to be sheltered from the elements and the evils of the world. Yet, that is exactly the situation in Peru."

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children.  A silent auction will also be held, and will feature gift cards and certificates from area businesses, as well as a variety of services and new items.
