Trashy Products at Notre Dame Tag Sale

Honduras Children's Project will be selling our "trashy products" and traditional Honduran items at Notre Dame's Tag Sale on September 1st.

"Trashy Products" are the latest trend. People of Villa Soleada, located in El Progreso, Honduras, work tirelessly to pick up trash off the streets, and turn it into unique and colorful handbags. Villa Soleada is a village in rural Honduras, where work is often difficult to come by. The proceeds from your purchase both provide them with their daily sustenance and directly benefit Honduras Children's Project.

Our traditional Honduran products include handmade items purchased in a traditional open-air market in Honduras. They include bracelets, necklaces, hacky-sacks, table-runners/sashes, and genuine leather belts.

All proceeds benefit Honduras Children's Project and our work to improve the education for the children of Copprome Orphanage. We are dedicated to empowering success in the next generation of Hondurans through education, specifically by providing the children of Copprome Orphanage with an educational after-school program and by supporting the local elementary school with basic supplies.
