Extra Hours Today for Durham Absentee Ballot Applicants
The Town Clerk's office will be open for part of Saturday, Nov. 5.

DURHAM, CT — The Durham Town Clerk's office in Town Hall will be open from noon to 3 p.m. today, Nov. 5, to issue Absentee Ballots for Durham registered voters, according to officials.
Registered voters in the town must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible for an absentee ballot:
- Active service in the Armed Forces of the United States
- Absence from the town during all of the hours voting
- Illness
- Religious tenets forbid secular activity on the day of the election, primary or referendum
- Duties as a primary, election or referendum official at a polling place other than my own during all of the hours of voting
- Physical disability
