Falcon's "C" Squad wins battle in Canton

The Falcon's traveled to Canton to face the Warrior's which was a battle to the end. The game began with an on-side kick from the Warrior's which resulted in a recovery by them to put them on the offensive. The Falcon defense did a great job shutting down the Warrior's offense on their opening drive. The Falcon's moved the ball in the first quarter but had difficulty reaching the end zone. Both teams tried to score before the second quarter ended, but both defenses shut down the others offensive drives. The Falcon's came out strong early in the third quarter when they began a drive on their own 25 yard line. A couple key passes from quarterback Ryan Doyle to Jackson Moore and Josh Mann set the tone for the drive. Power running by Shea Larkin, Michael Roccapriore and AJ DeFilio, the Falcon's moved the ball quickly down the field. With great blocking by Jackson Moore, Justin Sambor, Sebbie Manning, Jeremy Mangiamelli, Josiah Martinez, Josh Mann, Anthony Toth and Logan Saks they set up a 20 yard touchdown run by quarterback Ryan Doyle who also punched it in for the extra point to make it 7-0 at the end of the third quarter. The final quarter of the ball game was a defensive battle again in which the Falcon defense played disciplined enough to shut down the final drive by the Warriors to end the game with a 7-0 victory. Another team effort by all!
