Finish Athletic Complex at Coginchaug Regional High School, Residents Say
There are no bathrooms at the facility, among other missing components.
DURHAM, CT — Despite some completed construction on the facility, the athletic complex at Coginchaug Regional High School remains unfinished, and residents are calling on district officials to wrap it up.
The Meriden Record-Journal reports that the project stalled after the district ran out of funds, so there are no bathrooms and no field lights, among other missing features.
Various options have been considered for completing aspects of the project, which would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to finish. District officials are continuing to discuss the matter as they prepare next year's school budget.
