Kelly Falvey was recently named the Teacher of the Year at the Connecticut River Academy in East Hartford. Falvey, who taught history at Coginchaug High School for six years, has been with the school since it's inception in 2010. "It means that you're dedicated to working with your colleagues to create that team effort," Falvey told <a href="http://www.remindernews.com/article/2012/06/25/connecticut-river-academy-names-kelly-falvey-teacher-of-the-year" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Remindernews.com</a> "Because you will only go places if you're working together."
