Forum Scheduled in Durham for Families of People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
The event this month will be hosted by members of the Durham legislative delegation.

DURHAM, CT — Members of the Durham Legislative Delegation will host a forum on Aug. 25 to address questions and concerns from families of loved ones who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
“Topics of discussion will include new legislation to better help families communicate with [the Department of Developmental Services], what happens when individuals turn 21 and 'age-out' of state provided services, and what services and supports are available in Connecticut,” states the event's flyer.
The forum will run from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Third Floor Meeting Room of Durham Town Hall, 30 Town House Road.

In addition to state Sens. Len Fasano and Ted Kennedy Jr., and state Reps. Vin Candelora, Noreen Kokoruda and Jay Case,members of the following Connecticut agencies will also be in attendance:
