During this busy time of year, one may wonder why it’s worth taking a few hours of limited calendar time to head over to Go Far Go Fast?

  • We are a community that supports children all year. We care about your child and we celebrate his or her potential as our mission every day. Please show your support and come out!
  • Last year over 400 local children lined up to participate in this growing event. Throughout the year, Go Far focuses on non- competitive programs making all feel welcome regardless of ability.
  • Everyone who finishes this race feels like a rock star, no matter what the finishing place.
  • This race has infinite teaching moments, the type of learning that can only happen outside a classroom.
  •  Our local schools and teachers support Go Far for its many teachable moments.
  •  Running Go Far will help you improve in soccer, baseball, lacrosse, swimming, dance, skating, martial arts, lacrosse, etc.
  • When you support Go Far, you support the local businesses and organizations that believe in our mission.
  • We think we may have the best trophies of any race you’ll ever go to.
  • Little kids: There’s no better way to hang out at the fairgrounds. It’s got the best hill in town to roll down with your friends.
  • Big Kids: Go Far Go Fast is a great event to hang out with your friends at the Durham Fairgrounds, where you have had shared some of your best memories.
  • Watching the big kids mentor the younger kids during the races is priceless.
