Students at Korn School got to meet Baby Basil, Regan O, Frank Cilantro and Elvis Parsley. The students received GROWUMS Herb Garden Kit compliments of the Durham Fair Foundation.
These kits are a fun and interactive way to introduce gardening to kids. The Durham Fair Foundation's mission is promoting Connecticut's agricultural and rural heritage and this was a perfect educational opportunity.
The students enjoyed receiving their kit which includes the herbs with contained watering tray and an online interactive gardening adventure. Cayden Bernard, 3rd grader at Korn School, exclaimed "the watering is so fun and my oregano is gi-normous!"
