Groundwater Ordinance Adopted in Durham
This is an effort to deal with polluted water under central Durham.

New rules on the pumping of groundwater were recently adopted at a Durham town meeting.
The approved ordinance will forbid the pumping of groundwater within a zone of 100 properties in central Durham, according to the Town Times.
