Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Durham and Middlefield

Details on when we might see storms are included in the National Weather Service's updated forecast.

Friday’s still a couple of days away but that hasn’t stopped the National Weather Service from issuing a β€œHazardous Weather Outlook” for all of southern Connecticut already.

While no β€œHazardous Weather Outlook” was issued for Friday in Hartford and Tolland counties as of yet showers and thunderstorms are still forecast there Friday afternoon.

In the β€œHazardous Weather Outlook” statement, the National Weather Service says southern CT can expect β€œshowers and thunderstorms ahead of a cold front and wave of low pressure may produce heavy rain capable of flooding and strong wind gusts.”
