Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Durham and Middlefield this Weekend

The weekend weather should be mostly on the pleasant Side, but do not rule out Mother Nature having a temper tantrum on Saturday afternoon.

Weather or not, here comes the weekend, and it looks to be mostly on the not side except for a chance of some storms moving into Connecticut on Saturday afternoon, the National Weather Service says.

That leaves a pretty big window for the Travelers Championship final rounds in Cromwell and the Nutmeg State Games in New Britain.

And for beach-goers, the NWS is predicting temperatures in the low-to-mid-80s and not much fluctuation between the shoreline and inland, save for a couple of degrees.

The only real warning issued by the NWS is a hazradous outlook that calls for a chance that the Saturday storms could be fast-moving, so lighting sightings will serve as a stern invitation to move indoors or to safety fast.
