When: Sunday, May 1, 2016 Check-in from 12:30 - 2:00pm. Walk steps off at 2:00 pm sharp

Where: Begins and ends at Liam E. McGee Memorial Park - 140 Garden Street, Hartford 2-mile loop through downtown Hartford, around Bushnell Park. Free parking at The Hartford, 690 Asylum Avenue.

The Foodshare Walk Against Hunger is coming up on Sunday, May 1, 2016. This annual event is a critical initiative in our mission to keep up with the increasing demand for food services.

We serve 3,000 non-duplicated people, or 1,050 families each month through Amazing Grace Food Pantry. We are serving 1,075 non-duplicated folks 84,000 meals each year through the Soup Kitchen.

The funds raised in the Walk Against Hunger will help us keep up with the demand for food during the summer months when both monetary and food donations decline.

For the past three years, St. Vincent de Paul Middletown's participation in the walk has been successful. With only 10 days to go before the event, we need your help to make this year's Walk Against Hunger just as successful!It's not too late to form a team or join an existing team---click here to register, and don't forget to to check off St. Vincent de Paul as your benefiting agency!

If you can't make it to the Walk on May 1st, you can still support this important, annual fundraiser by sending a check payable to the Walk Against Hunger to St. Vincent de Paul Middletown, P.O. Box 398, Middletown, CT 06457. You may also donate online by clicking here.
