Last Weekend to Pick Apples

Sunday will be the last opportunity to pick apples at Lyman Orchards this year.

Weather permitting, pick-your-own will be available through the weekend, according Lyman Orchard's Facebook page. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The forecast calls for temperatures in the mid 50s and sunny/partly sunny weather this weekend.

There are 12 varieties available for picking: Crispin, Fuji, Macoun, Granny Smith, Braeburn, Ida Red, Rome, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Jonagold, Cortland and Empire.
