Legal Notice From Town Of Durham On Tax Payments

Due to the ongoing public health concerns, all payments must be made by mail or online at the town website.

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Durham that the second half of Real Estate and Personal Property taxes and the total Supplemental Motor Vehicle tax on the Grand List of 2019 are due and payable to the Town of Durham on January 1, 2021.

No bill is sent for the 2nd installment of Real Estate.
Due to the ongoing public health concerns, all payments must be made by mail or on-line at the town website.

View and/or pay tax bills online: at www.townofdurhamct.org. Choose β€œView & Pay Taxes” from the left side of the home page. Processing fees apply. Or payments may be mailed to:

If not paid by Monday February 1, 2021, interest must be charged from January 1 2021. In accordance with Executive Order 9R the interest will accrue at a rate of 3% per annum (0.25% for each month or fraction thereof) for a period of 3 months. After the three-month period has expired, the interest will revert to a rate of 18% per annum (1.5% for each month or fraction thereof) with a minimum interest charge of $2.00 applied to each delinquent tax bill.
