Rahisha Bivens, LCSW, Outreach and Engagement Coordinator & Board Member of Stop Solitary CT, will bring awareness to the inhumane practice of solitary confinement in CT prisons. Connecticut is the 2nd highest in the nation in terms of incarcerating Black men in solitary confinement. Solitary confinement is known to cause irreparable psychological damage in as little as 5 days.
