Liberty Bank 'Lends a Hand' to the Durham Fair
Month-Long Community Service Initiative Promotes Volunteerism and Giving
Liberty Bank employees 'Lend a Hand' to the Durham Fair to help set up the Durham Fair's 100 Year Celebration Crews were tasked with cleaning, moving picnic tables, folding tables, chairs, decorations, and more!
This project was part of a month-long initiative called "Liberty Lends a Hand," designed to encourage all Liberty Bank employees to get involved with community service, either through volunteering or conducting a collection for charity. At the end of the month, a total of 18 nonprofit agencies had benefitted from 940 volunteer hours from Liberty Bank employees and 74 collections were held for goods to be donated to organizations in the bank's footprint.
Pat Bandzes from Eversource brought a team of her own to partner with Liberty Bank's team captain, Jeff Drenzek, who is also a member of the Liberty Bank Volunteer Hall of Fame.
