Light Up Middlefield Sat. October 19 - Peckham Park

Co-sponsored by Middlefield Park and Recreation and the Middlefield Lions Club.

The 4th annual Light Up Middlefield will take place on Oct 19th at Peckham Park from 4:30-8:30 p.m. The event will feature a large display of your carved Jack-O-Lanterns and offer a variety of family entertainment.  This is a FREE community event.   An assortment of food and drinks will be available for purchase. 


Some of the many activities include:

  • Pumpkin Pie baking contest - registration at 4:30.  Celebrity judging at 5:30 by Lincoln Culinary Institute and NBC 30 Taste of Today Chef Jaime Roraback and Chef Kevin Cottle season 6 runner-up on "Hell's Kitchen"
  • Jack-O-Lantern contest - registration starts at 4:30, judging at 6:00
  • 5 and under Candy Hunt 6:30
  • Costume contest — Adult, Children and Pets 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for Scariest, Cutest and Most Original - a panel of celebrity judges will award prizes in each category starting around 6:45
  • 6 and over Haunted Candy Hunt - 7:30, bring a flashlight!
  • Hayrides throughout the night
  • Bounce House
  • Marshmallow Roasting Stations
  • Halloween cartoons
  • Pumpkin Pie, coffee and water for sale by the Middlefield Lions Club
  • Chili, Hot Dogs, Chowder, Apple Cider and Baked goods for sale by the Middlefield Children's Center
