Middlefield Firefighters Battle Mountain Brush Fire: Report
The fire was reported Thursday morning.
MIDDLEFIELD, CT — Members of the Middlefield Volunteer Fire Department were battling a brush fire atop Beseck Mountain Thursday afternoon, reports NBC Connecticut News.
The fire was reported at about 10:30 a.m., and firefighters from Durham and Westfield were also called in to assist. Separately, firefighters in Bridgewater were also battling a brush fire, according to the news station.
No injuries were reported in either fire.
