Middlefield Liberty Bank Branch Donates to Backpack Program
Month-Long Community Service Initiative Promotes Volunteerism and Giving
Middlefield Liberty Bank Branch Manager Taryn Ruffino and her team in Middlefield collected items for the Nutritional Backpack Program for Regional School District 13 serving Middlefield, Durham, and Rockfall residents.
"Along with the Middlefield teams (Amy, Corinne, Sam and Taryn) donations, we were excited to see the community join in on our efforts." said Ruffino when asked how Liberty Lends a Hand transformed their community. Members of the community who stopped in over the month of June contributed to the collection such as Christine, a resident of Middlefield. With the help of Malloves (her employer), Christine was one of the drives top contributors!
Middlefield resident and owner of West Haven Oil & Gas, Michael and his son Sam started Liberty Lends a Hand with a large donation made on behalf of his business to the collection. He created quite the eye catching display once he dropped of his donated items!
