Middlefield State Park Swimming Area Temporarily Closed: State
A Middlefield state park swimming area failed a water quality test, according to a release from the state.
MIDDDLEFIELD, CT — Wadsworth Falls State Park in Middlefield is closed for swimming after failing a bacteria levels test, according to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
Retesting will be Wednesday with results being released Thursday.
Indian Well State Park in Shelton was also closed following the DEEP test.

The Mashamoquet Brook State Park swimming area in Pomfret will remain closed for the 2022 season for ongoing maintenance.
