Eversource is still in the process of clearing roads. Partial restoration of electrical service has occurred in limited parts of Town. Eversource has indicated that they will be providing a restoration schedule for the Town later today. Please stay clear of downed electrical wires. Check back at this website for updates.

COOLING CENTER
The Middlefield Community Center is open as a cooling center from 9AM to 8PM daily during the current power outage, including Saturday and Sunday. Please use the door on the right-hand side of the back of the building (405 Main St).
- Air Conditioning.
- Phone Charging.
- NO Internet Available.
- Water & Snacks.
- Meals Ready to Eat (MRE) are available if you require food assistance. Limit 3 per person.
- Restrooms; no shower.
- Outdoor Water Spigot available at the Giving Garden Shed back at the back of the parking lot β to fill buckets for home.
- Masks must be worn in the building. Masks and hand sanitizer are available.
POTABLE WATER

- 405 Main Street β Water spigot next to Giving Garden shed.
- 25 Mattabeseck Road (Lake Beseck pump station) β Water valve on fence.
BRUSH
Transfer station is now able to accept trash and brush. Open during regular hours.
There will be a brush pickup scheduled in a few weeks. DO NOT burn brush. Open burning is currently prohibited in Town, and it is illegal to burn leaves.
COMMUNICATIONS
Town communications are very limited. If unable to reach town staff, please visit or leave a note at the Town Hall or Community Center should you need assistance.
