Middlefield Volunteer Fire Co. Receives Large FEMA Grant

MIDDLEFIELD, CT — The Middlefield Volunteer Fire Co. was awarded a $152,620 FEMA grant. In a social media post, the Fire Company said, "This grant will be used to replace our Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) as well as face pieces for each individual. This has been a long process, spanning over three years, and will be a huge benefit for the safety of our members as well as saving taxpayer’s money."
