Middlefield's Route 147 Closed After Accident
The accident occurred near John Lyman Elementary School.
A portion of Route 147 in Middlefield closed the morning of Monday, Sept. 14, after a car accident near John Lyman Elementary School.
According to the Middletown Press, a car struck a pole near the school at approximately 6:20 a.m., sending one person to the hospital.
According to the CT DOT, Route 147 was closed in both directions between Way and Lake Roads. Estimated time to clear is unknown. Visit the CT DOT website for the latest traffic incidents.
