Surveillance Photos Released In Durham Car Break-Ins: Update
The thefts occurred early Thursday.
DURHAM, CT — Seven unlocked vehicles were broken into during the early morning hours on Thursday, April 20, on Pleasant Terrance in Durham, according to Resident State Trooper Tfc. Larry Morello, and a criminal investigation has been launched into the incidents.
"Seven (7) unlocked vehicles were rummaged through during the overnight hours," wrote Morello in a statement. "Loose change, Gift Cards along with a Liberty Bank debit card were taken. One victim states that his Liberty Bank debit card was used at [2:31 a.m.] at the Sunshine Food Mart (500 Broad Street, Meriden)."
Morello said that video surveillance "shows the suspect exit a dark colored Volvo sedan and then entered the store where he purchases items using the stolen Liberty Bank debit card." See the surveillance photos.
