Patient Airlifted to Hospital After Injury at Powder Ridge
A mountain biker sustained a traumatic injury and had to be airlifted to the hospital over the weekend
MIDDLEFIELD, CT — A male mountain biker was airlifted to the hospital after sustaining an injury at Powder Ridge Mountain Park over the weekend.
Middlefield Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene around 10:14 a.m. Saturday, according to the fire company's Facebook page. The patient had traumatic injuries and was taken to Hartford Hospital via LifeStar helicopter.
